Poland will surprise with the impressive variety of its beautiful landscapes and varied cities rich in history and art, including 16 UNESCO World Heritage sites. It has spectacular medieval and Renaissance castles, dazzling Baroque churches, well preserved historical town centres.
And then, there is the unspoilt and hugely varied Polish nature: spectacular Alpine style Tatra Mountains, wild endless Bieszczady mountains, “The Land of 2,000 Lakes” – Masuria, lovely long shore of the Baltic Sea, and huge areas of centuries-old forests with bisons – almost extinct elsewhere in the world – are a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. And well, it also has delicious and varied cuisine.
