Amazing! What a beautiful collection of photos. Thank you. What is Italy like in winter? Is it always sunny or not really?
Hi Shannon, it depends on which part you go to. The very north of Italy is perfect for skiing or enjoying the snow. The northern cities can be grey or rainy in winter. Venice can suffer flooding in this time of the year. Central Italy also doesn’t guarantee sun. Rome has a very pleasant climate, but it might rain in January or February (although it’s mostly rather sunny). If you want to warm up and have a truly sunny weather, head to the south. Southern regions and Sicily will be sunny for sure.
